Cynical Moods

We have become distrustful and cynical. We find it increasingly hard to believe in love, family, and facts. So practical have we become that we are suspicious of any loving or friendly gestures that anyone displays for us.

I believe we are afraid to take risks and face the consequences. In this world of fraud and falsity, we are no longer aware of the differences in truth and false. We are suspicious of even the long established and self-experienced truths.

Another reason why we find it difficult to trust facts are that today everyday new researchers bring in new facts, new results; easily discarding and denouncing the older researches. Then the increasing number of false claims and innovative ideas to sell products and services have also made us alert, conscious and judgmental.

What are your opinions, why have we become so cynical?
